Topic A: Financing for Development: Economic prosperity leading into a better lifestyle.
The countries in ways of development are in the need of investing in new and reliable technology in order to develop a safer and stronger economy which will increase the life quality of its inhabitants.
“Official development assistance (ODA) stands at 0.31 per cent of national income for developed countries, far short of the recommended 0.7 per cent UN target. Only five donor countries have reached or exceeded this target.” -United Nations website.
Topic B: Mexico’s urgent necessity to merge the informal economy into the world of formal economy: an impact to the global economy.
The 68.2% of Mexican population is working in the “world” of informal economy.
The informal economy together with migration to the United States of America is causing Mexican economy to “hang in the balance”. Most of the informal economy is based on the sale of “pirate products” (cloned or stolen products) such as pirate movies, clothing, music, etc… Also narco trafficking, which is a major issue in Mexico, is considered informal economy.
Mexico is in the urgent necessity of an economic plan in order to reduce this problem that is starting to affect its neighborhoods.
